The Start: Upon (Murray) returning from the Gulf War in 1992, Low-country natives Cindy & Murray Compton took the seats out of their minivan and started delivering bottled Spring Water! Friends & family loved it and were soon “hooked” on the great taste of AppSprings Water. They told their friends…and a business was born!

The “Overnight Success”: Good water and personalized service proved a winning combination…and the company has recorded 20-plus years of consecutive increases.

Line extensions: Additions like the marvelous marketing tool of private label spring water and filtration divisions were added.

Expansion: Since The Best Water Makes the Best Coffee,AppSprings acquired an established office coffee service company, and tapped Mr. John McMillan as GM, for the coffee and filtration divisions.

The Future: John-Murray Compton III serves as VP & COO, but Cindy and Murray remain as active as ever in their growing concerns, always remembering where they came from, and how they got there.
